Stylish, affordable and comfortable maternity wear is now available in Brantford, Ontario at In The Pouch. For eleven years, people in Brantford and the surrounding area had to leave the community to find a retailer who specialized in maternity wear.

In The Pouch opened in March of 2008 and is owned and operated by Julia Berardi and Maureen Kelly.

“Some of our family members and friends recently had babies. During their pregnancies, they had to travel outside of Brantford to buy maternity clothing, that’s when we recognized a need for a maternity boutique in Brantford”, say Co-Owner/Operator, Julia Berardi.

In The Pouch carries a wide variety of casual, business casual, and some formal maternity wear. We also carry an array of nursing bras and tops, diaper bags, baby slings and accessories.

Many of the clothing and accessories were designed and manufactured in Canada with some products coming from the U.S. and Australia.

“We spent a great deal of time looking for suppliers and finding maternity wear that was comfortable, stylish and affordable. We’re very excited to be featuring many products developed by Canadian talent”, say Co-Owner/Operator, Maureen Kelly.
